Unemployment is a situation in which an individual have no opportunity to work and does not able to find a job.
Unemployment does not only effect the person but also his family and the society in which he lives. He become a burden upon the society and start feelings of inferiority. Now a days unemployment and poverty are the major problems which we are facing.  Following are the effects of unemployment on the society.

Unable to satisfy needs/ wants:

A person who is jobless cannot full-fill his needs/ wants. Which leads to tension and anxiety in the family. The person feels low self esteem and the society think of him as inferior person.

Fights at Home:

Unemployment leads to quarrels and fights at home. If the person is married and is unemployed then it will leads to unstable life between the partner. They will always fight over little things. This will lead to isolation of the couple.

Crime and Robberies:

Now a days this is a major problem of our societies. We are hearing and watching stories of crime and robberies every day in newspapers and TV. The crime rate is increasing day by day. If a person is unemployed and if he find nothing for his living then he will definitely go for committing crime and robberies.

Disturb Life:

Long term unemployment leads to a disturb life. The person does not know how to get rid of the situation and how to change his life. It makes him a thinker. And i think unemployment makes a man the best thinker. Because the person has gone through worst situation and he think of the ways to get himself out of that situation.

My Journey of being unemployed

Graduated in 2013. Then my journey begins of unemployment. My father was very happy when i completed my graduation. But soon after my graduation (three months) my father died of heart attack. It was a big tragedy for me. My father was retired from merchant navy in 2002. At that time i was in primary school and my father emphasized on my studies. My elder brothers who were abroad in UK supported during my studies until graduation. I thought after graduation i will payback all the expenditures that incurred during my studies.
In 2014 i left home and went to the capital city to find a job. I had two friends from my university who were also unable to find a job. Me with my two friends tried hard to find any kind of job. Finally i got my first job at an american based Call centre as a Customer Sales Rep. It was night shift job but i accepted it and was thankful. I did this job for a month. Then my brother who was leaving for UK came to my hostel in Islamabad and told me to go home. This job is very hard and you are destroying your health "he said".  So i listen to him and came back to home.
Soon after that my another brother, who is in UAE called me to come to UAE. It was july 2014. So i came to UAE for a month. I started finding a job. I didn't left any opportunity. Atfer searching for job their i realize that only those people get a job who are extra ordinary or who have any reference. And i don't have any. Then i came back to Pakistan dishearted. :(
I didn't know what to do. My Father always  prayed for me. But its a matter of luck. Every one was talking about me. And i was feeling dishearted all the time.

Un employment and Depression

I am experiencing these situations from the past 4 years. So i am posting my own experiences of my life. Un employement is directly proportional to depression and anxiety. ;) my own opinion. This is the worst experience and yet i am going through this situation. If you are un employed that means that uou are isolate from the society and it feels the worst. In pakistani society no one cares about your looks or your ability but they care only just for your bank statements. Every one will ask you " What are you doing now a days? Did you get any job or not? And then you will have nothing to say but just "I am trying to find answer for your question" :D . That's the worst feeling i ever had in my life. This kind of question is mostly asked by the relatives and some other people who never want you to out of this worst situation. You will have only few people in your circle who will encourage you and motivate you.

Unemployed Pakistani

In Pakistan  unemployment rate is increasing day by day. Every year thousands of students are graduated and start job searching. Now i am going to divide people into four categories. In the first category those people get a job who are extra ordinary and genious. Now in the second category those people  those get a job who have a reference or relationships with any  MNA/MPA, Bureaucrats.  In the third category those people who tried hard but did not get a job and started there own business and became entrepreneurs, Because they are able to run their own businesses. And at the last those who want to go to abroad for study and work there.
These are the four categories of graduates now a days in Pakistan. And the remaining graduates who don't have high grades or any extra ordinary ability, don't have any reference, and are not able to start their own business, and cannot afford to go abroad to study or start working.
Watch this video : A young man who has given up and want to go abroad. This happens when you have tried a lot to get rid of unemployment but you can't do anything except criticising.

A lot of people in pakistan get frustrated from the current situation and want to move to other countries. Actually most of the people go abroad where they dont get there dream job but they do any kind of job just to earn money and feed thier families.
